Linda I like the quarterly of clear your shelves...
Turn pages challenge
Banned books challenge

Kadijah Michelle I can't chose just one, and I would like to see the Popsugar Challenge added. They are repeating the list this year. The only one I'm not into is the Goodreads Choice Winners, but that's because I like to read books from all different times.

Madelyn I would like to see the Monopoly Challenge again. I know it's not one of the options but I really enjoyed that one!

message 4: by Renee (new)

Renee I picked the A-Z challenge, but i also really liked the I Spy challenge and the #readwomen challenge. I think #readwomen could be expanded to include other under-represented authors?

Someone suggested a challenge about reading books from/taking place in different countries, or the further distance away from you - that sounds like fun too.

Amy (Other Amy) I picked I Spy (my runaway favorite), but I also enjoyed #readwomen. (I am planning to do a personal challenge of 'people who don't look like me/live like me' or something to that effect next year, as I did notice as I was putting together photos of my #readwomen authors that most of them, yeah, pretty much look like me.)

Do you happen to know if they are doing the same categories next year? I enjoyed it this year, but if they are doing the same categories again, I probably won't do it next year. Too much investment and not conducive to nonfiction reading, which I need more of next year.

Alisia Oh my gosh I just came across an article "50 books set in the 50 states"! That would be an awesome challenge idea!!!

I liked the quarterly clear your shelves also.

Aysegul I was away for a few months, so I missed the voting. What about if we have an idea for a new challenge? Can we suggest it still, or is it too late?

I was thinking it would be great to have a Nobel Prize Winners challenge, like reading a book from as many Nobel winner authors as we can, or like last winner's all books...
