I am disappointed that we will not have a medieval read for September. Although I respect the efforts made to moderate and administrate this group, the opportunities to read medieval books are evaporating. When they are chosen, they are often works that others have read before and agree to reread. Further, I am open to reading books from the ancient era and have enjoyed one or two in this group. Yet, all selections are about the Romans. Are there no other stories from that sub-genre? Is anyone aware of another on-line group that focuses on the Middle Ages?

I would recommend you check out our bookshelves Guy. All the past ancient and medieval poll books are there and you can get an idea from those choices what there is out there to choose from. Roman is by far the most prolifically written about for the Ancient era which is why they constantly get chosen for the polls. As per usual, the poll losers are possible to read with the group, they have their own thread and you are welcome to comment there and possibly drum up some reading buddies too.
If you are looking for other groups you will have to do this on your own as we do not advocate discussing that in here.
Hi Dawn, Terri, can you point me to the poll losers thread for September - I'd like to read Redemption of Alexander Seaton if others are. Thanks, Margaret
Margaret, There is only one thread for reading poll losers, this one: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
