I voted for 'Old Devils' partly because I have a copy but the only one I have little interest in is 'The Mountain Lion'. I may change my vote depending on how things turn out though.
One thing I didn't do this time that I've done in the past months is this: invite all group members to vote. I hoped that that would help get more people aware and invested in the group read, but it may have done the opposite, resulting in a winning book that participating members were not interested in. So, this month, I just left it for people who are paying attention to discover.
So . . . if you know someone who usually participates but who hasn't yet, see if you can let them know.
Also, let me know if you think this approach works better or worse, or if there's an entirely different approach we should try out.

I'm not trying necessarily to get anyone to change their vote, but of the two frontrunners, The Mountain Lion is not available for Kindle, but A Schoolboy's Diary is.
If we are tied, still tomorrow, the last day of the poll, could those who voted for a book not winning change their vote to a book that is? I don't want to be in the position of calling a tie.
And yet . . . if we are tied when the poll closes, how do folks think we should settle it, without creating a new poll?

The person who guesses closest to the temperature in Huntsville, Alabama on the Weather Underground website within 5 minutes of the poll closing decides between the two winners. Which weather station in Huntsville TBD.
I feel like I betrayed Robert Walser for switching my vote (but I also did mention The Mountain Lion in the selection thread).
