Haven't read Narnia yet, but I loved HP more than LOTR. Sorry Tolkien sir, maybe I wasn't prepared for your books when I read them. :(
I've already posted here... Well, LOTR is objectively the best out of these. Harry Potter is the most popular. I equally adore both. But Narnia is definitely where my heart is. I absolutely love Narnia.
Since Tolkien and Lewis both put such fascinating worlds together first, I'll just say that Ms. Rowling had very good teachers that enabled her to put her own popular world on pages for the modern readers.

I finished The Horse and His Boy, really good, and my friend said that she will read LOTR if I read HP, so...we'll see how it goes...

Always...
I can't choose. It's like choosing between hands, feet and head. I vote for HP but my affections still are divided.
Both The Lord of the Rings and The Chronicles of Narnia, because unlike rowling, Tolkien and Lewis were both devout Christians. And also because there is a huge difference between Christian Fantasy and occult literature. People don't know how to distinguish between these two genres. The difference is like day and night.
I haven’t read any of these series. Tried The Chronicles of Narnia once but it was a little slow for my taste. Same with The Hobbit. And I had absolutely no interest reading Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. The only “series” I read were the Twilight.
