My "single" favorite fictional couple does not exist because so far I have seven. I first fell in love with Anne Shirley & Gilbert Blythe of Anne of Green Gables fame. Next, Ollie Barrett IV & Jenny Gaviller of Love Story. Oh, my, and what a love story that was. Of course, no list is complete without Mr. Darcy & Elizabeth Bennett. If you've not read "The Thin Man" novel - when you do, you will fall in love with Nick & Nora Charles, and their dog, Asta. The Notebook's Noah Calhoun & Allie Hamilton are the next couple to steal my heart, followed by Hermione Granger & Ron Weasley. But, I must say I'm having fun creating a love connection for KC in my new series, The Chronicles of Eldershire. Billy "Ish" Isherwood is pulling at KC's heart strings. It will be interesting to see how it all turns out. I'll keep you posted!(less)

I've found writer's block happens when my characters are not happy with how the story line is going. So, I get a cup of Joe, turn on some music, and read a novel of a favorite author. Eventually, the characters start chattering again, and my writer's block begins to unravel. The first few times it happened, it was surreal. Now, I can't say I look forward to it, but I don't mind it as much--it means I'm deep into the story with my characters when it happens.(less)

Hello, Darkness, My Old Friend

Where does time go? You wake at four, five, or six in the early morning, darkness is all around you, and then BAM! The darkness of the night gives way to the rising sun. You realize it’s another day!

Disclaimer: This is a long post…plan to read for about fifteen to twenty or so minutes.
