we’re taught about the CBT triangle of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, whereas in DBT we were always referring to the intersecting circles of emotion mind, reason mind, and wise mind. But if you strip away the terminology and some of the details, both come down to the same thing: To regain control, we need to develop awareness—and not just about childhood issues.
