Fourth, when God finally chooses to use us, it comes at a time least expected, when we feel the least qualified. That makes us effective.
Suffering is not about identifying the cause; it’s about focusing on the response.
It is about becoming the man or woman God has called you to be.
Life is not about you! It’s about God.
First, remember that suffering is not new.
Second, realize that suffering plays a beneficial role.
Don’t ask, “Why is this happening to me?” Rather, ask the question, “How should I respond?”
Third, release the idea that contentment requires comfort.
Happiness is a byproduct of contentment.
When we awaken in the morning, we choose the attitude that will ultimately guide our thoughts and actions through the day.
First, in every disagreement, there is one issue but several viewpoints.
A disagreement is a conflict that involves an issue seen from opposing points of view.
Second, in disagreements, each side has validity.
Third, in heated disagreements, someone usually gets hurt.
1. When in a disagreement, work hard to see the other point of view.
2. When both sides have validity, seek a wise compromise.
3. When the conflict persists, care enough to work it through rather than walk out.
4. When it cannot be resolved, graciously agree to disagree without becoming disagreeable.

The Scriptures are your measuring tool for making sure the teaching you receive is straight and true.
Critics hate truth because it sets people free.
When you travel, don’t go alone.
