The stranger reached toward her and brushed the back of a finger down her cheek, leaving warm tingles in its wake. “Breathe, Violet.” Willow released a slow, shaky breath. He stroked her other cheek. “That’s a good girl.” Heat pooled between her thighs. Oh God.

I would have peppersprayed this man and ran so fucking fast he sounds like he would fuck, kill and hide the body

he spoke her name, he increased the pressure on her clit. It was a small change, a subtle change, but he might as well have shifted the ground beneath her feet for the earthquake it triggered within her.
