Yet nothing is corrupted or destroyed and completely abolished; but the terminology troubles men. 102. For Generation is not Life but Sense, as Change is not Death but Forgetfulness, or rather Occultation and lying hidden. Or better thus:-- 103. For Generation is not the Creation of Life, but a production of things to Sense and making them manifest. In the same way, Change is not Death, but an Occultation or hiding of that which was. 104.
