Obedience was his top priority. First thing on his list for the day. He acted immediately in response to God’s direction. I love the fact that the Scriptures are replete with the marvelous activity of God that occurred “early in the morning.” When Abraham obeyed God’s unthinkable request to take his son, the child of promise, up to Mount Moriah and sacrifice him to the Lord there, he immediately obeyed.
