You can’t imagine this is what God had in mind for you when He brought you out of Egypt. In fact, it’s pretty much what you’ve been praying against. No way could He have thrust you into this kind of situation unless you’re being punished for some reason. I mean, doesn’t He know you do your best running without all these obstacles in your way, without being constantly hounded by one problem after another? Seems like there should be a more direct route to abundant living. This one’s awfully cluttered and confusing, eyeball to eyeball with all this stuff.
