I picked up Whatever by Michel Houellebecq to read on the flight home. It’s mean-spirited, but I was in the mood for something mean-spirited. I don’t like this world. I definitely do not like it . . . advertising . . . computers make me puke. . . . The world has need of many things, but not more information.
