Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. —1 PETER
“Thank You, Jesus, for this opportunity to trust You more.”
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. —PHILIPPIANS 4:6 NASB
“For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” —ISAIAH 41:13
But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. —ISAIAH 40:31
YOU ARE ON THE PATH of My choosing. There is no randomness about your life. Here and Now comprise the coordinates of your daily life. Most people let their moments slip through their fingers, half-lived. They avoid the present by worrying about the future or longing for a better time and place. They forget that they are creatures who are subject to the limitations of time and space. They forget their Creator, who walks with them only in the present. Every moment is alive with My glorious Presence, to those whose hearts are intimately connected with Mine. As you
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” —MATTHEW 11:28–29
It is through awareness of My Presence that Peace displaces negative feelings. Practice the discipline of walking consciously with Me through each day.
The ultimate challenge is to keep fixing your eyes on Me, no matter what is going on around you. When I am central in your thinking, you are able to view circumstances from My perspective.
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” —ISAIAH 41:10
Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you. —2 THESSALONIANS 3:16 Submit to God and be at peace with him; in this way prosperity will come to you. —JOB 22:21
Do not be like Pharisees who multiplied regulations, creating their own form of “godliness.” They got so wrapped up in their own rules that they lost sight of Me. Even today, man-made rules about how to live the Christian life enslave many people. Their focus is on their performance, rather than on Me.
The way to walk through demanding days is to grip My hand tightly and stay in close communication with Me.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds. —JAMES 1:2 I can do everything through him who gives me strength. —PHILIPPIANS 4:13 You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. —ISAIAH 26:3
You can choose to walk with Me along the path of Peace, leaning on Me as much as you need. There will still be difficulties along the way, but you can face them confidently in My strength. Thank Me for each problem you encounter, and watch to see how I transform trials into blessings. And do not grumble, as some of them did—and were killed by the destroying angel. —1 CORINTHIANS 10:10 To shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace. —LUKE 1:79
Time can also be a tyrant, ticking away relentlessly in your mind. Learn to master time, or it will be your master.
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. —PHILIPPIANS 4:4–6
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. —2 CORINTHIANS 4:16–17
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul. —PSALM 143:8
In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation. —PSALM 5:3
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” —JOHN 14:6
pray—“Help me, Holy Spirit”—before answering the phone, and you have seen the benefits of this discipline. Simply apply the same discipline to communicating with people around you. If they are silent, pray before speaking to them. If they are talking, pray before responding. These are split-second prayers, but they put you in touch with My Presence. In this way, your speaking comes under the control of My Spirit. As positive speech patterns replace your negative ones, the increase in your Joy will amaze you.
When you see armies of problems marching toward you, cry out to Me! Allow Me to fight for you. Watch Me working on your behalf, as you rest in the shadow of My Almighty Presence. After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting: “Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God.” —REVELATION 19:1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. —PSALM 91:1
I AM A GOD WHO HEALS. I heal broken bodies, broken minds, broken hearts, broken lives, and broken relationships. My very Presence has immense healing powers. You cannot live close to Me without experiencing some degree of healing. However, it is also true that you have not because you ask not. You receive the healing that flows naturally from My Presence, whether you seek it or not. But there is more—much more—available to those who ask. The first step in receiving healing is to live ever so close to Me. The benefits of this practice are too numerous to list.
Seek My Face, and I will share My mind with you, opening your eyes to see things from My perspective. Do not let your heart be troubled, and do not be afraid. The Peace I give is sufficient for you. “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” —JOHN 16:33 Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always. —PSALM 105:4 “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the

Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of your wings. My soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me. —PSALM 63:7–8 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a
My continual Presence with you is an absolute promise. Seek Me in good times; seek Me in hard times. You will find Me watching over you all the time. But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul. —DEUTERONOMY 4:29 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. —HEBREWS 10:23 The LORD watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy. —PSALM 145:20
in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. —PHILIPPIANS 4:6–7 “Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within
Take time to listen to My voice. Through your sacrifice of precious time, I bless you far more than you dare to ask.
An ongoing problem is like a tutor who is always by your side. The learning possibilities are limited only by your willingness to be teachable. In faith, thank Me for your problem.
Once you have become grateful for a problem, it loses its power to drag you down.
