Kahlil Gibran says: “For what is prayer but the expansion of yourself into the living ether?”4 “Your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him” (Matt. 6:8). This statement should be the preamble to every prayer. It should be read in every Christian church every time the “call to prayer” is issued. It should be embossed on the front of every Bible and prayer book, and should be prominently displayed in every prayer room.
