IT’S ALL ABOUT STAPLERS

Flag icon
every time you come to a crossroads and have to take a decision about your project or your life, you’ve already failed, even if you do take a decision and it works out. If you’ve been doing your Karmic Management correctly, events have just worked out already, without the decision.

The moral here is that a stapler works if it’s loaded, and it doesn’t work if it’s not loaded. When you really need a stapler right away, you don’t go running around the office comparing all the staplers on people’s desks. You don’t stand there with a red stapler in one hand and a green stapler in the other and try to make a decision about which color stapler is going to work.

There’s no sense or need to stand there trying to make a decision about which color stapler to use. All you need to know is which one is loaded, because that one will work.

You can stop making decisions, because they never help. You can start loading your actions, which always helps.

Because in the management of the world by karma, no action at all is ever lost. Every karmic step you take will without question lead to its result: what goes around always comes around.

HOW TO LOAD AN ACTION
66%
Flag icon
Any action you take to make your karmic business partners successful will, without question, produce success for you, no matter what else you do, no matter what else you decide. It will all be just … instinct, automatic: “Somehow I knew.”

Each day, every day before you start work, write down one specific action that you’re going to take to make each one of these four successful. It doesn’t need to be something big—it probably shouldn’t be something big. Just one thing you can honestly get done today that will contribute to their success.

Problem is, karma works just like planes. Before we ever heard about KM, we had already invested a lot of effort in either ignoring our co-workers and suppliers and customers and the world, or even working to “beat” them somehow. And all these karmic seeds are still there in our mind: nothing is lost, for good or for bad.

With Frank, this means that I myself must have been complaining about someone in the past and disrupting somebody else’s work.

the first step in removing a problem karmically is just to identify the general kind of act we must have committed ourselves in the past to plant it.

The way to shut off a karma is to be absolutely careful not to do any more of it now.

But that complaining had a purpose: you see that complaining let me know where my problem was.

So take joy in your problems; focus on your problems and embrace them. Don’t look away or avoid dealing with them. They are your friends; they are going to take you over the top.

The more effort you put into not complaining (especially about Frank’s complaining), the bigger and more powerful this karmic black hole becomes. The hole “resonates” with all the old complaining in your subconscious mind: it attracts old seeds of complaining, sucks them in, shuts them off. And so it’s not just that KM gives you the power to create your own successful future. It also gives you the power to selectively target any problem in your work or life, and shut it down.
