You know where the safe path takes you—but it only takes you that far. The scary path? No one knows. It could be awful. Or it could be the best decision you’ll ever make.”
“I think—” Blake’s voice turned rough. “You’re a smart-ass who’s too stubborn for your own good. I think you drive me crazier than any person ought to. And I think I might die if I can’t be with you.”

They were being so cheesy, she would’ve cringed had she read it in a book, but this wasn’t a book. This was her life. And right now, it was perfect.
“You should’ve been a cheerleader instead of a football player.” Blake broke into laughter. “You’re right. I messed up.”
