To think inside the box is to cause our mind to fire in the most regular way in which we fire our own pattern of neural circuits, based on what we know and remember. To think outside the box, then, is to force our brain to fire synaptic patterns in different orders and arrangements to make a new level of mind, based on what we do not know.
