Armstrong, founder and president of Reformation and Revival Ministries, edited a volume titled The Coming Evangelical Crisis.4 When I asked him whether he thought the crisis was still coming or is actually here, he admitted that in his judgment the crisis is already upon us. “And why is that?” I continued. He answered, “It is because evangelicals have forgotten their theology.”
