Just think about how easily people all accepted the label that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) uses for interest, dividends, and capital gains—“unearned” income. Surely this label trivializes the productive and noble process of assuming risk and investing capital.
Anytime someone is about to tell you “the secret of life,” you should interrupt and ask how long it will take to tell you this secret of life. If he or she answers anything under three years, don’t waste your time. There is no way to communicate the secret of life in 30 seconds because there probably is not only one secret to life.
