“I’m sor—” Before I can finish, his lips crash against mine in a fury of heat and passion.
“I have to say, I find breathing to be a wonderful quality in a woman.” Seth leans back. “Glad we don’t need to add necrophilia to your resume.”
My brows furrow, unsure who this is at first. Then it hits me. Shit. She’s using the nickname I gave her the other night. My lips pull into a smile knowing she’s thinking about me.

“Alright, let’s win your girl back! Let ‘Operation Bennett’s a dumbass but loves Charlie’ commence.”
