He’s the sexiest man I’ve ever seen. The cloud of testosterone surrounding him is probably visible from space.
My vagina wakes up from her six-month nap and screams at me that though this man looks like the emotionally unavailable type with major control issues, she would very much like to be wrecked by him.
If my vagina could detach from my body and fling itself right onto his face, it would.
A note of darkness creeps into his voice. “If I were looking at you like you were my next meal, you’d already be eaten.”
“Telling a woman not to overthink something is as dangerous as telling her to calm down when she’s angry.”
The scent of him drifts to me on the warm evening air. Expensive cologne and a hint of musk, along with something crisp but undefinable. It’s probably the smell of new hundred-dollar bills.
But now it’s too late. We touched the fire. There’s no going back from here. The tragedy of it all is that I already know this man will ruin me, but even that isn’t enough to make me want to save myself. Now, I just want to jump into the flames and burn.
“Sometimes love doesn’t make any sense. But it doesn’t have to. When you find someone who makes your soul sing, all that matters is joining in the song.”
When liars like us fall in love, everything else falls apart. But, for now at least, we’re falling together.
