Is breathing necessary?
Tex’s large hands rested over his crotch. The moment he realized where I was looking, he stopped hiding the evidence of his arousal. “Don’t get scared now.” Tex whipped his head toward me. “I’m not. Don’t be a disappointment.”
“You really should be careful of the monsters you seek out.”
All I could think about was the fact that I was in a strange hotel room. And the most horrifying truth of all. I’d fucked the enemy last night.
Somehow, Enzo had gotten into my brain and turned me into an empty-headed bitch.
“Ah, I get it. He’s the bad boy. You’re the good guy. It’s a match made in hell, but lust made in heaven,” she sighed wistfully. “It’s the perfect setup, really.”
There was a resolve in his voice that I didn’t want to test. At least the sane side of me didn’t. The horny brain side of me almost wanted him to hold me down and never let me escape. Then I will know he really cares about me. Goddamn, I need therapy.
“Why are you staring at Pen like that?” Tex took the cat from my arms, and I couldn’t help but glare at the orange fur ball. “Enzo, you hurt my cat, and I swear there is no jail cell that will keep me from killing you myself.” The corner of my mouth quivered as I attempted to keep from laughing. “So, there is a line you’re willing to cross.” Tex shook his head. “Hurting a man’s fur baby is asking for it.”
Whatever this is.” He pointed between us. “Is… I don’t know, done.” I ate up the distance between us in four easy strides. My hand circled his neck as I pulled him close. “I thought I made myself clear; I am no longer giving you chances to leave me.”
“You’re shit at listening.” I grabbed another box and handed it to him. “I’m never letting you go, Tex Caster.”
I’m not craving drugs or even alcohol.” He licked his lips as his eyelids lowered and his pupils dilated. “I found something far more intoxicating and just as deadly.”
“You’re not being fair.” I dropped his legs and leaned forward. I bit his ear. “Fuck being fair. If I have to take you apart in order to keep you, I will.”
“I’ll gladly take all of your hate.” I continued to fuck Tex, ecstasy coursing through my veins with every thrust. “Just be mine.” I felt as if I was pleading.
“The only thing I give a fuck about right now is him,” I said, nodding to Enzo. “He’s all I’ve got left.”
“Tex?” “Yeah,” I muttered. “I love you.” My eyes snapped right back open. “What?” Enzo’s eyes were starting to close, the medicine kicking in. “I love you,” he slurred slightly. “Stay with me.” My heart raced. Did I just hear that? Enzo searched my face, his tired eyes looking for something. I licked my lips. “Fuck. I think I love you too,” I whispered.
I love you more than I’ve ever loved another human being in my life.
“You’re mine. You’ve had your moment of freedom. You will never escape me again.” Tex stared at me for a long while before his lips tilted up in a smile. “Freedom? I was on the fucking run.”
Enzo deserved so much more than to be treated like a bottomless wallet with a dick.
“Just because there’s a hole in me doesn’t mean I won’t kick your ass.” I grinned. “Bring it on, baby.”
From now on, I’m the only one allowed to hurt you or make you cry. Every inch of you belongs to me.” I bit his lip. “Even your life.” Tex groaned. “Yeah. Where do I sign, Satan?”
