So, I lied and said Nancy taught music. Oh, yeah, I said. Sorry about that. After I hung up, I went and hid in a stall in the ladies’ room so no one could hear me crying. Poor Nancy. She wasn’t a music teacher. She wanted to be, but she was too sick to finish school. That’s the real story. She was sick and nothing she tried or we tried could make her better.
