All the Right Notes

But just hear this: No matter what people say about you, no matter how they try to define you, just remember that you get to decide who you are.

It’s easy to put your trust in someone who so clearly believes in living their own truth to the fullest.

Don’t just run the songs and tell them they’re perfect. They know they’re not. They’re looking to you to tell them what they’re doing wrong. To tell them the truth. When you don’t, they lose faith in you.”

If you’re ever in doubt, just take a step back. And then look at our son. See through to the core of him, and you will know. This is who Quito is. We must make sure he wants for nothing in life, to get the chance to be who he was always meant to be. That is the job of a parent. To love their child one hundred percent, no matter what.”
