He has had intercourse with three women in the course of his life, but simply as a matter of duty, to see if he could be like other men. He did not like it, and it did not seem natural to him. With men, the age preferred is from eighteen to forty-five, or even up to sixty. While preferring the educated, he makes the following interesting remarks concerning his instinctive impulses: “I like soldiers and policemen for the actual sensuality of the moment, but they have so little to talk about that it makes the performance unsatisfactory.
