You should be with someone who will treat you like a seven-course meal.
“There was never a question of if I wanted to be your Dom, Parker, but rather if you could handle it.” I swallow as my whole body heats at his words. “So, you’ll do it?” His nostrils flare. “Yes. Since you asked so nicely,” he murmurs. “Are you sure? I don’t mind finding someone else—” “You’re mine,” he growls.
I’ve been waiting eight years for you. To love you.
“My heart,” he adds, his voice softer. “You hold my heart in your hands, so please be gentle.” Fuck. Me.
“You idiot,” she breathes, teasing me. “You could have led me off the side of a cliff and I would’ve followed you.”
My heart is racing, and I want to be sure he knows what he’s getting himself into. “But we’ve only been dating for… less than a week,” I blurt. Chase gives me one of his earth-shattering smiles, the kind that tugs at his dimples and makes him seem so fucking young. “Right, but I’ve been loving you for eight years.”
