Anonymous: Jesus' hidden years...and yours

Fear of failure stands on the banks cautiously to observe before even getting her feet wet. But perhaps obedience simply wades into the center and lets the current of God’s presence set the pace, be it swift or still.

We are accountable before God for our imaginations as much as for our deeds.

I want to renew my mind with whatever is true, lovely, right and pure.

But Jesus did not stand there imagining how it would feel to be swept up by angels and surrounded by adoring fans. Even in his thought life, he refused to bask in the attention and awe of mankind.
