Anonymous: Jesus' hidden years...and yours

Jesus’ authority derived from earthly positions: crown him King or dismiss him as a criminal; his authority remained unchanged.

I will live in submission to my Father’s will and Word.

Submission-based authority thrives with or without man’s praise and approval.

position + submission = empowering leadership position – submission = abusive leadership

In the day of title, position, and power, we should be very alarmed if we discover the following in our lives.

We stop practicing what we preach:

We begin specializing in the creation of rules:

We stage displays of our devotion:

feel deserving of special honor:

We lose sight of the sacred:

We tithe our money but are stingy with our mercy:

We consciously conceal our hypocrisy:

We overestimate our immunity to sin:

We silence the voice of the prophet and wise man:
