is the day, yea, even the last time, that the servants of the Lord shall go forth in his power, to nourish and prune his vineyard; and after that, the end soon cometh.
harden not your hearts: for why will ye die? For behold, after that ye have been nourished by the good word of God all the day long, will ye bring forth evil fruit, that ye must be hewn down and cast into the fire? Behold, will ye reject these words? Will ye reject the words of the Prophets? and will ye reject all the words which have been spoken concerning Christ, after that so many have spoken concerning him? and deny the good word of Christ,
Some days... especially when I fall short on my gospel study... I want the world and its ways.

And there was nothing save it was exceeding harshness, preaching, and prophesying of wars, and contentions, and destructions, and continually reminding them of death, and the duration of eternity, and the judgments and the power of God; and all these things stirring them up continually, to keep them in the fear of the Lord. I say there was nothing short of these things, and exceeding great plainness of speech, would keep them from going down speedily to destruction.
A very timely passage... but seriously... is it strong enough for me? Wow... I am not sure.

It can happen to the best. Just saying...
sore afflictions, to stir them up in remembrance of their duty.
The alternitive to scripture (gospel) study

We can never repay him, Yet, we can and should do our best always.
all that he requires of you, is to keep his commandments; and he hath promised you that if ye would keep his commandments, ye should prosper in the land; and he never doth vary from that which he hath said; therefore, if ye do keep his commandments, he doth bless you, and prosper you.
Help me to believe and always remember this...
do as he hath commanded you, for which if ye do, he doth immediately bless you; and therefore, he hath paid you. And ye are still indebted unto him; and are, and will be, forever and ever;
Immediate blessings now and forever!
I would desire that ye should consider on the blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God. For behold, they are blessed in all things, both temporal and spiritual; and if they hold out faithful to the end, they are received into Heaven, that thereby they may dwell with God, in a state of never ending happiness. Wha is the "this"? At least 17 blessings follow the "if" of the "this". Pretty significant!

What is the "This" that makes it so you "...shall always rejoice".
that we have no more disposition to do evil, but to do good continually.

It`s so easy for kids to make themselves merry. Without (e.g EtOH) most adults can`t. Why?

What happened to the concept of FHE? Who is this sin upon? Seems too serious not to take note.

It begs the question why Mosiah had not prior regulated the affairs.

Even though forgiven, suffering was still ongoing even though Christ suffered already for them.

Because they did humble themselves before him... Note this: "in all cases" they were delivered...
Now it is not common that the voice of the people desireth any thing contrary to that which is right; but it is common for the lesser part of the people to desire that which is not right;
Our day is not so common...

No other thing can remind us as well as in reading in The Book of Mormon every day.
