They’re singing. They’re doing their thing. It’s a loner thing.” Unlike many of the critics who reviewed Suicide over the years, Springsteen detected this thread of influence in the music. “I’ve liked Suicide for a long time,” he told Mojo. “If Elvis came back from the dead, I think he would sound like Alan Vega.”
