Waking Too Early in the Morning Suppose your child falls asleep easily at 7:00 P.M. as desired but wakes every morning at 5:00, ready to start the day. His sleep phase runs from 7:00 P.M. to 5:00 A.M., again indicating a ten-hour sleep requirement.
