You may follow a life path that fits what you think you’re supposed to do, but it’s not what you were meant to do. Or maybe it was the right path for a season, but now your story has evolved, leaving you stuck in a place that feels off. You can choose to stay stuck, doing what you think other people want you to do, but you’ll never fully discover your highest, most significant contribution to the world.
“My definition of greatness would be going for it no matter what, despite fear, and making the absolute most of the life that you were given, because it’s not a dress rehearsal.”
“I never want you to feel like you’re too old to start something,” he told me. “I never want you to feel like you’re too young or too inexperienced to chase your dreams. I never want you to feel like you’re not capable of developing the resources, the intelligence, the wisdom, the skills, the experience to attract abundance in your life.” In short, Dad was telling me, Lewis, I never want you to feel like you are not enough.
So, the difference between the villain and the hero is one thing: how they respond to pain. The villain says, The world hurt me. I’m gonna hurt it back. And the hero says, The world hurt me. I’m not gonna let this happen to anybody else.11
The right thoughts produce better behavior and lead to better emotions. The right emotions lead to better behavior and lead to greater thoughts. The right behavior reinforces better thoughts, which leads to better emotions.
The bouncer in your brain lets in whatever you think is important to you.

Anytime someone offers their opinion, Evy asks herself, Who is this person, and why should I listen to them? If those questions have no good answer, Evy lets the criticism go by without notice.
Done is better than perfect.
