You can stay here as long as you want there’s no need to get a rental,” he waves the idea away, the frown still creasing his face. “I can’t do that,” I tell him defiantly. “I insist. I’m not ready for you to not be here,” he admits through gritted teeth, avoiding my eyes. “I can’t stay here forever. I need to go back to my own place sooner or later,” I reason, standing to put my arms around him, wanting to reassure him. It’s been a tough time for both of us getting over what happened. “Why?” He is just missing his bottom lip sticking out from reminding me of a five year old. “Well.. because… well, I just must. I can’t stay here,” I fumble. “Do you want to stay here?” He fixes me with those blue eyes that dazzle me. “Y..yes,” I admit. It has been amazing waking up with him every morning and going to sleep in his arms every night, and truthfully I don’t want it to end. “But…” Hayden fixes me in place with a predatory look in his eye and places his finger gently on my lips to silence me. “Then put your house up for sale and don’t find a new one,” he orders me with a small smile on his face, removing his finger from my lips. “Move in here with you?” I asked, stunned. “Like permanently?”
