Whether or not speculations about an affair are true, her joy at her relationship with Hitler remains pure and evident. The footage was shot in 1975—when anyone would know better. And yet she doesn’t. You can see it in her naughty grin, her conspiratorial asides about what can and cannot be shared with the public.
