Her eyes are wide and shining, staring straight into me in a way no one else ever has. A way that scares me and entices me all at the same time. Like she knows my every fear, want, hope in life. Like I’m an open book for her to dissect with her piercing blue eyes.
“All I’m sayin' is, I’m already broken. You broke me years ago. You left me breathless and beggin’. Time can’t change a broken man. So, you better be sure. There’s no takin’ it back. There’s no puttin’ us back together. If you break for me, I’m never lettin’ you go.”
“I’ll take you however I can get you, baby girl. You’re perfect either way.”
