“I love you, Finneas Fox.” My lungs somehow find a way to breathe, despite the weight of her words slamming into me with the force of a thousand comets. My jaw clenches painfully and my throat tightens into a tight ball. I can’t look away from her, my entire world between the palms of my hands.
