No one was ever commanded to seek the baptism of the Holy Spirit or to pray for it. Unlike some of the practices of charismatics or Pentecostals today, no one in the book of Acts, or in the whole Bible for that matter, was ever commanded to be baptized in the Holy Spirit or to seek the baptism of the Holy Spirit. It was never presented as something one must seek.
