I could get just as shitfaced from a glass of vodka cranberry as I could from a tequila shot, so I wasn’t sure why it mattered what form I drank my stupid in.
I grabbed her kindle out of her hands and danced out of her reach as I read the title. It was a book called Nicky and the Night Owls and on the cover was a picture of a smirking woman.
