“You called out to me. And I know your name. I addressed you as Amata for a reason.”
He lifts a hand to caress the side of my face, making warmth crawl up my neck and cheeks. “Because where I’m from, Amata is a term of affection we give to our destined wives.”
Her espresso skin reminds me of a forbidden chocolate I'd heard of, but thought was only a myth.
I feel suddenly that I want to experience the many facets of her, to know every side of her, everything about her—
“You would destroy me,” I blurt, then quickly slam my hand over my mouth, heat rising up my face. "Adorable." He chuckles softly, sending a ripple of goosebumps across my skin. “And, what if I promise to be gentle?”
“Don’t apologize for touching what belongs to you,” His voice comes huskily.
"You can’t kill everyone that says or does something to me you don’t like.” “Yes, I can,” he retorts, his tone deadly,
“You look absolutely delectable, Amata,” he says, "You're mine, Rhianne. I will have you; you have no idea how much I wanted to take you, but only when you begged me for it, not a second before."
"I'm going to claim you," he says, his voice a rumble, "I will take you, every inch of you, I won't stop until I've had my fill..."
I feel happy for the first time, and I know that I'm right where I belong. I'm home. I'm his home.
“You saved me in more ways than I could ever thank you for, and I want to spend the future years showing you how grateful I am for you. I’m not sure what those days will look like, or how the years to come will come to be, but what I know is that I want to spend them with you.
