And that has been his main thing for holding back this entire time. He felt like he didn’t deserve her obviously he still does, but at least this time he’s willing to ignore that feeling and say “fuck it” and be w/ his girl.
“Good.” I lean in and brush my lips over his. “Because I think I’m in love with you.”
🥹♥️. Lock him down honey. Damn, she moving quick. This part always makes me giggle but I’m here for it. They’re young and they spent a year going back and forth getting to know each other and then sleeping together, so this fits. Young and in love. Fun times.

Listening to the Dramatized version of this is sooo much better than I thought. It could use some adjustments, but I’m glad I decided to read this book while listening to it too. It’s hilariously beautiful. 🤭

The fact that everyone in the world knows about her hair that says something… what is the significance of her hair color ? Why is it like that ?

A pair of gryphon riders stands in the meadow about thirty feet away, their beasts eerily silent behind them.
Damn. This was such good writing.. like the way the story flows and the plot twist and the action scenes.. man this is a good story through and through.
The sky crackles. “No!” Xaden turns and hauls me against his chest, wrapping his arms around me and pinning my arms to my sides.

“If you have ever trusted me, Violet, I need you to do it now.” The plea in his eyes leaves me stunned.
This is such a moment. Damn. He should’ve told her. Maybe not about the Venin and Webern because she probably wouldn’t have fully believed that w/out actual proof but you could’ve told her about weapon smuggling maybe..idk..it’s such a tricky and thin line because on one side it’s easy to say you should’ve trusted me w/ the truth and etc and on the other side it’s not about the two of them and this is bigger than just their bubble. It’s complicated.
Free from his grip, I spin toward the field as Xaden reaches the riders. “You’re fucking early,” he says. And my heart stops.

He’s right. It’s always harder to hear the truth. But it’s necessary but unfortunately your kingdom doesn’t want to believe such things or rather…they rather leave everyone else to deal with/ the problem themselves. Sad really.

There’s that thin line.. it’s very thin. But.. idk… I wouldn’t say he didn’t trust you I would say that he wasn’t ready to break everything you thought you knew.
