This part. I love how she wanted to still keep Amber alive. To maybe find a better way forward. Says a lot about Violets character. Most people would be happy to see her burn.

A gruesome scream rends the air, shattering a window in the academic wing, and every rider slams their hands over their ears as Claidh mourns.
This part was sad. The Dragon having to mourn because of the actions of her rider. I felt bad for the dragon tbh😔
It’s not that I don’t like him. To my absolute annoyance, he’s actually…nice. Courteous, funny, and ridiculously helpful.

They have a tendency to get lost in each other. Having these “moments” around other people but not remembering that they are surrounded by other people. It’s interesting to see play out.
