If Will knew one thing, it was that shit could go FUBAR quicker than he could say “fuck,” and any kind of preparation made the danger that much more manageable.
Hamish and Jeremy—lovingly nicknamed Peanut Butter and Jelly,
Fuck Quinn and everything he had ever teased Peyton with and then refused to follow through on.
“Besides, we’re not exactly helpless. I was special forces, and I know that doesn’t mean much to you, but it means I know how to look after myself.” “Speak for yourself,” Parker grumbled. “I don’t have combat experience! I’m a primary school teacher!”
“Will and Peyton... being with them was the first time in eight fucking years that you didn't haunt me. Where I could close my eyes, and I didn't see you. Where I could feel them touching me and not think about how it didn't feel right because it wasn't you.”

Okay, the markers had been his idea, but he claimed ignorance for the rest of it.
Will stopped at the entrance to the bullpen and stared. Quinn was at his desk, with Grady leaning over him and pointing at something on his monitor. The moment that Quinn spotted him, the small smile on his face morphed into something bigger, something warmer. It made Will's heart rate pick up speed.
Peyton decided that they were going to have a serious talk about how Sebastian should conduct himself during hostage situations. Spoiler alert: this wasn't it.
