Why is he trying to make them hate her more? It makes no sense.
9/17/24 Exactly Old self! This is definitely defeating his purpose being that he needs her to comply with the marriage and bonding. Did he forget that part or has he found another way after 900 years suddenly? What is he expecting this to do?
