A Crown of Chains

“People will assume they can take advantage of a pretty girl like you, and when that happens, I want you to be the one that holds all the power. You are capable of more than you realize.”

if someone doesn’t think you are a threat, then you have the advantage.

But I will welcome the nightmares, as cruel and twisted as they are, as long as I wake up in my own bed the next morning. As long as I wake up with hope for my future.

“I would betray the king before I would betray my God, no matter the cost.” ‘My faith is stronger than my fears.’

Death would have surely been better than this darkness.

We can all find faith, or…perhaps faith finds us. And some of us forget faith all together.

There has been goodness in my life. Light in the darkness.

Faith is having courage, even when everything seems impossible, isn’t it? Even when wishes don’t come true. Even when pain is the path to salvation. “In darkness we gain a deeper understanding of light’s brilliance. And I found the courage to open my eyes, to see that I was never alone in the dark.”
