Why would it? To even suggest such a thing was foolish, if for no other reason than swapping assets in MMA just doesn’t happen. Too many egos involved. Too much binding language in the contracts. Too many legal entanglements. Too much dissension in determining fighter value. It didn’t help that the UFC was notoriously stingy with its roster, either. All contracts were constructed to work entirely in the UFC’s favor, and they didn’t have to bend where they didn’t want to.
