He was the British fighter coming off a one-sided title fight loss against my friend and former Mizzou teammate Tyron Woodley, but he had plenty of juice to steal. He was open to social media volleys back and forth. He’d play along with me to build a big fight. Not only that, I knew I could take him down at will and do as I pleased, which would both piss a lot of people off and set me up nicely for an even bigger fight.
