I’ll only run.” I pulled my hand back and he let out a long breath as he relaxed into his chair. “You’re hard work, you know that?” he teased. “Too much work for one man alone,” I agreed, winking at him as I blew a bubble with my gum. Leon huffed but he was half smiling too. “Maybe I need some help then,” he teased and my smile grew. “Yeah, maybe you do.”
