“We were hoping to speak to Miss Callisto alone,” Carver said slowly, casting glances at the men in the room and Leon growled low in his throat while Reginald answered before I could say a word. “She’s not under arrest or even under suspicion, I’ve allowed you into my home so that she can assist you with your questions, but I have no intention of leaving you alone with her to start up an interrogation,” Reginald replied lazily and the FIB agents nodded like they’d expected that. “You said you were mated last night?” Carver asked, looking to me as Dubeck pulled out an Atlas and began typing. “That’s not a crime,” Roary cut in. “Ask the questions you came to ask. Her personal life isn’t your concern.”

I laughed as I ended up pinned between the two brothers, wriggling away as they started wrestling and darting around them to grab the pastries from both of their plates. By the time they stopped and looked around at me again, I was sitting cross legged on top of the coffee table, sucking the last crumb from my finger with a smirk of triumph. They both cursed me good naturedly and Reginald purred as he smiled at me. “Watch out boys,” he said as he leaned back in his chair. “I think we’ve just let a Lion into the pride instead of a Lioness and if we’re not careful, she’ll be crowning herself king before we know it.”

Leon Night: Hear. Me. Out. Professor Titan totally just gave me detention – DETENTION!!- because I maaaay have swapped @DanteOscura’s eckles sap for Faesine during Potions class before he brewed it up and added a fire crystal to it. But is it MY fault Eugene Dipper happened to be walking by at that moment? Is it MY fault that I’d fallen asleep and not screwed on the Faesine lid properly so it had leaked out of my pocket and left a puddle on the floor which Eugene was standing in at that time? Is it MY fault that he went up in flames and started running around so fast that none of the water Elementals could put him out before it burned off all of his clothes, his hair, pubes and eyebrows? Is it MY fault that Dante was also knocked over by the blast and electrocuted three people in the back row including Mrs Cuffkins from the school board who was assessing Titan’s teaching? Is it MY fault that Titan now has to take an online course and attend weekly health and safety lessons to prove he can ‘handle the dangers of a room full of potions and teenagers’? I mean really, people just can’t take a joke these days.

there again. Elise climbed into the back with her while Lasita asked if she needed a couple of seatbelts to hold her tiny waist down in case of a car crash and I smiled when Elise laughed it off. I placed my aunt's bag in the trunk before getting into the driver's seat and knocking Leon's hat off with a gust of air. "For fuck's sake Dante," he muttered and Lasita smacked him around the head with her stick. "Be gone mindworts!" she cried and I burst out laughing the same moment Elise did. "Hey!" Leon barked, swivelling around in his seat to frown at her. "Don't shout at my old aunt," I growled and Leon turned back around, folding his arms. "Ohhh he's got the devildust in him," Lasita said ominously. "It's going to take more than a few strikes." "You’d better help him," Elise implored and Leon growled under his breath as I snorted a laugh. As I drove off down the road, Lasita started chanting in some crazy language, smacking Leon around the head every time she reached a crescendo. "Call her off," Leon demanded of me gruffly. "Not until you start smiling, fratello." I grinned widely at him and he glowered back just as Lasita whipped him with the stick again.
