The Tempest

It’s important to remember the dead. Speaking as though they can hear is neither mad nor sad. It’s honest. It’s defiance—a refusal to forget.

She is the only good god remaining among humanity; “The others have left and gone to Olympus. “Trust, a mighty god has fallen, “Restraint has fled from men, “And Grace, my friend, has abandoned Earth. “Men’s oaths are no longer to be trusted, “Nor does anyone revere the immortal gods; “The race of pious men has perished, “And men no longer recognize the rules of righteous conduct. “Hope is all that remains among the chaos brought by Pandora.”
