Dammerman pulled him aside for a conversation. “You have no idea how much good you did your career with everything that happened,” he said. Cote told him he didn’t really see how, given the berating he had received from Jack. “Well, the first thing was the way he yelled at you in his office,” Dammerman said. “He has made vice presidents cry, and you never got flustered.
